I just listened to this week's installment of Cannon Fodder, the Dispatch's CBJ podcast. Near the end, Arace, Portzline and Mitchell mentioned that management is supposedly willing (though perhaps not actively looking) to trade Brandon Dubinsky. All three agreed (as do I) that this would be a bad idea, not to mention unpopoular with fans. But apparently it's out there. Has anyone else heard this? And under what circumstances would this be a good move? I'm not saying the guy will ever be mistaken for Gretzky. But from my POV, Dubi's been a true heart and soul kind of player, and perhaps the biggest key to the Jackets' going from listless losers to gritty contenders.
