2013 NHL Draft: Jackets Draft Kerby Rychel 19th Overall

Jamie Squire

With the 19th pick of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Jackets draft Kerby Rychel of the Windsor Spitfires.

With their second of three first-round picks, the Jackets drafted winger Kerby Rychel of the Windsor Spitfires.

Rychel gives the Jackets another excellent forward, with offensive ability, physicality and high character. He and Boone Jenner are a match made in heaven as linemates.

For more on Rychel, check out his draft profile.

The thought of a player with NHL bloodlines in Rychel anchoring a future third line with Jenner is very exciting.
