Game 1 of the weekend home-and-home. It's an early one!
In an odd scheduling quirk, the Blue Jackets will be finished playing the Red Wings after 26 games, or just over halfway through the season. Umm, OK, NHL. Whatever. We play them today and tomorrow, home-and-home, and then we won't see them again until next season. At which time we'll see them less, because of realignment. Selah.
Some of the juice is out of this game, given that Derek Dorsett is out with a broken clavicle for the rest of the season. So, this whole discussion of relevancy will have to wait until next year.
Enjoy 2:00 hockey! Here's hoping the Red Wings have already set their clocks ahead.
