If this flu progresses, I, too, will be taking bites out of Patrik's Berglund's thigh for sustenance. - Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE
Damn, Nicole. Damn. There is vomit and dookie everywhere.
Alright, here's the deal. I currently believe I am now in the beginning throes of some sort of Devil Flu. As such, tonight's game thread intro--complete with Crank Yankers homage in the intro--is going to be incredibly short.
The Blues are in town.
They are good.
They are starting their less-good goaltender, however.
We are very injured.
We have three guys making their season debut in Columbus, including David Savard, Tim Erixon (making his Jackets' debut), and Jonathan Audy-Marchessault (making his NHL debut). Side perk of Devil Flu: my fever hallucinations make it now very easy to spell Audy-Marchessault without looking it up. Boom. Roasted.
Sergei Bobrovsky is in net.
Our defense is, how you say, slightly less experienced than it was two nights ago.
Did I mention the Blues are really good?
Why yes, Grandma, I WOULD like to go with you to the fireworks factory.
[shakes head]
What?
Enjoy the game folks. Damn, Nicole.
