Think you're a social media guru?
XFINITY Sports is looking for a guy or gal to be their new social media star. Columbus fans are some of the finest social media folk out there-knowledgeable, informed and savvy in the ways of online sports interaction.
From January 28th to February 18th, potential applicants have the opportunity to submit a short video and written statement outlining why they should become the next voice of XFINITY Sports.
Ten semifinalists will be selected, with 8 of the best submissions selected initially and 10 alternates selected as Wild Cards. Each Wild Card contestant will have one week to campaign for votes to help them advance to the semifinalist round. Voting will take place on the XFINITY Facebook page (www.facebook.com/xfinity), and ultimately 2 Wild Cards will fill the final two semifinalist slots.
Each of the 10 semifinalists will be invited to XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia, PA, to participate in a series of challenges designed to test their social media skills. The 5 contestants who excel in their evaluations will receive the opportunity to travel to a live sporting event, hosted by an XFINITY partner.
