The Jackets are coming off of two straight solid efforts--even if sloppy on Monday night--in which they ended up in shoot-outs (one win, one loss). The Coyotes are not off to the start they'd hoped for, with two losses and 10 goals allowed.
The Jackets will start Steve Mason tonight after two straight 65-minute-plus-shootout games for Sergei Bobrovsky. Mike Smith, who has not been sharp, gets the nod for the Coyotes. The Jackets will renew acquaintances with Rostislav Klesla and Antoine Vermette.
