Wishing you and yours all the best over the holiday season, and a prosperous 2013.
Hey folks, Mike MacLean here, manager of The Cannon.
Personally, the holiday season always serves as a time of reflection for me when it comes to this blog. Every year I'm reminded of how lucky I am to have my team of awesome writers helping make The Cannon a fantastic place to talk about our favorite team, the Jackets.
Andy's been with me the longest. I have an overwhelming sense of loyalty to Andy. He helped us go from the Blogger days to what we are now, and I wish him all the best in his endeavours as a filmmaker.
Matt is not only prolific with his writing, he's also one of the most devoted fans of the CBJ that I know. This past year Matt was married, so if you haven't already, give him a huge congrats and buy him a cold one if the opportunity arises.
Dan P. My boy. King of the podcast, lover of terrible Canadian home inspectors. Danno is the stats guy. When play resumes, this guy will dominate.
Lou Bordeaux. He's recently taken on serious civic duties recently, so you can call him Mr. Sir from now on. In all seriousness, Lou is the most dedicated AHL fan I know. His baby-the Springfield Hockey Heritage Society- is phenomenal, and his passion for the Falcons is second to none. We are lucky to have Lou on board to offer up top-notch AHL analysis.
Most of all, I'd like to offer my best to the community members of The Cannon. The lockout stinks, but we have an excellent core in place. Here's hoping that the lockout is resolved sooner, rather than later, and our small but dedicated group of CBJ fans can continue to grow.
All the best to you and yours this holiday season.
