With their fifth round pick, the Jackets drafted power winger Seth Ambroz. He was ranked as a potential first or second rounder, so his fall to the fifth round was a surprise. He led the Omaha Lancers of the USHL in scoring last season, and is committed to the University of Minnesota next season.
