The NHL regular season is just about over and the Jackets will be doing the same thing they have done many times before, golfing. The Jackets have failed to make the playoffs once again and have failed to be in contention when the season winds down. This means that the Jackets will be trying to make a large amount of moves for the next season. Howson can no longer use the excuse that "the issue is in the room". It is now Howson's turn to make something happen with this team. He must make some major changes this offseason in order for the fans and management to believe that he is still the right guy for the job. Fans need to know that things are going to change in order to make this team successful for next season. No longer can we give the young guys one more year to develop in order to see if they can turn this team around. We have a good young coaching staff that is bringing a different system to the Jackets from what they are used to. The players are not in position for Arniel to be successful. The defense is slow and old and the offense needs some upgrading.   

So what do the Jackets do this offseason? That's for Howson to do and fans to speculate. I am curious to see what fans think the Jackets need to do in order to be successful.
