Game #27: Columbus Blue Jackets at Montreal Canadiens, Tuesday December 6, 2011
First and foremost, some lineup clarifications based on Porty's notes from morning skate. AP's reporting that Derick Brassard is probably out tonight as an HS, and that the lines shape up like this:
20--07--61
22--17--19
50--26--15
18--24--40
So, not nearly the huge changes projected this morning. R.J. Umberger on the fourth line is interesting, but not uncalled for given his recent play. It also makes that line a little more dangerous, as Umberger > Cody Bass. With Jeff Carter back in the lineup, and the highly successful second line combo put back together, perhaps the Blue Jackets can come with some more offense.
Hopefully the Jackets' R&R will pay some dividends. They looked gassed on Friday night in Edmonton.
