Game 22 Bizarro Matchup: Video Sabres at Video Blue Jackets

The Video Blue Jackets had a chance to devour some turkey on Thursday night, and other than Fedor Tyutin all looked a little heavy and sluggish as this tilt started. Perhaps it was the tryptophan hangover?

At any rate, Toots got the game started off right, though I wish I could take some credit for it. Beyond that, this one was a struggle for both fake teams. Thankfully, the home team was able to get some offense going when it mattered.

Final: Blue Jackets 4, Sabres 1 - Game Notes:

• Three Stars: 3. Marc Methot, 2. Vinny Prospal, 1. Fedor Tyutin
• I don't know what to say. That first goal? Wow. Slop. In fact, three of my four goals were really pure video game-only slop. I guess even AI takes a holiday now and again.
• Not much else to report. Not my best defensive effort. The Buffalo goal was a rather embarrassing whiff in terms of defending a 2-on-1. I took neither guy. Ouch.
• I definitely started gripping the stick a little tightly as the 1-0 score went further and further into the game. I didn't want to drop ANOTHER one.
