Try this one on for size. The KHL's Atlant has apparently terminated Wellwood's contract. Although the team hasn't made it official... "Considering that the winter holidays in Russia are a 10-day marathon, with virtually everyone being off from work until January 11, 2011, the information about Atlant's contract termination hasn't been made official by the club." Those crazy Russians! Apparently Wellwood's 8 points in 25 games (with a TOI of 8:39) isn't good enough. If the release does become official, he'll return to the NHL. Now, I ask you three things: 1. Is Kyle Wellwood a player you're interested in? 2. If so, is he the kind of player that would fit in Arniel's style of play? 3. What moves would you make to bring him in? (Someone's gotta go.)
