Jackets Game 3(X) Open Thread: Jackets vs. Penguins

Neither team has their best offensive players in the lineup tonight, it looks like both team are auditioning their checkers. That said, I predict a low-scoring affair. It will be interesting to see how Ethan Moreau and Sammy Pahlsson connect, they will be an important tandem going forward this season.

Quick 1st period thoughts:

-Methot keeps making passes To Whom It May Concern.
-Goldbeef has made some great plays to break up the puck or take guys into the boards.
-Sweet play setting up the Kolarik goal.
-Garon looked shaky early, but settled down.
-High sticking Matt Cooke is not a crime.

Kubalik is looking like a beast!
Great goal by Wilson, and great pressure on the 5-on-3.
Penalties are, in fact, killing us.
Both teams getting chippy. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get a fight in the third.
