Jackets Game 2 (X) Preview: Welcome Home, Boys

Welcome back to Nationwide Arena, Jackets Fans! It's the first pre-season game at home after last night's squad won down in Atlanta, and the Jackets are icing what should be a very exciting lineup to take on the Washington Capitals. Keep an eye on what Mike's dubbed the "6-7-8" line of Filatov, Brassard, and Voracek. The recently extended Steve Mason will be starting, and 2010 first round pick Ryan Johansen will also be making his NHL debut, centering Rick Nash and RJ Umberger.

On the opposing side, Jason Chimera returns to Columbus, while the Caps will have Semyon Varlamov in goal. No Alexander Ovechkin, Mike Green, or Niklas Backstrom tonight, but they are bringing Alexander Semin, Brooks Laich, and Tomas Fleischmann to provide an offensive punch.

This should be a great night to come out and enjoy some hockey!
