NHL Announces National TV Schedule - CBJ to appear 3 times
The NHL has announced the national TV schedules, and the Blue Jackets have 3 appearances scheduled on Versus: Oct. 8 vs. SJ (Sweden, 3pm ET), Dec. 27 vs. Minnesota (7:30pm) & Mar. 31 at Washington (7pm).
The team also has a fourth "possible" appearance as a Flex game on NBC's March 20th "Game of the Week" against New Jersey. However, one of the other matchups selected for Flex scheduling that day is Rangers/Pens, so don't hold your breath...
For our Canadian brethren, the Jackets are set to appear on TSN 10/8 at 3pm and against the Ducks on 10/20 @ 7pm. RDS will carry the 11/2 game against the Habs at 7:00pm, TSN2 will carry the same 12/27 matchup against the Wild at 7:30pm, and CBC will be carrying the 2/5/11 matchup against the Oilers as that night's 7pm Hockey Night In Canada game.
With the National schedule announced, expect to see Fox Sports Ohio releasing their schedule shortly.

Speaking of Fox Sports Ohio:
Per Aaron Portzline’s twitter feed: “FSO to air 75 #CBJ gms in ’10-11. Exceptions: 10/8-9 vs. SJ (in SWE); 11/2 vs. MON; 12/15 @ VAN; 12/21 vs. CGY; 12/27 vs. MINN; 3/31 @ WASH.”
Now, three of those 7 are covered by Versus, and the Vancouver, Montreal, and Calgary games should be on NHL Centre Ice at your favorite drinking establishment (They cannot be seen locally, BTW, because of the Versus ‘Exclusivity Window’ clause in the NHL’s TV deal), but how are loyal CBJ fans supposed to watch the 10/9 game in Sweden?
Good question. Hopefully NHL network will pick it up, or Versus and the NHL will allow FSOhio to carry it. Otherwise, we’d better hope it’s on CSN Bay Area via Centre Ice, or we’re all out of luck.
