Jackets sign Ben Guite
Looks like the Jackets added a bit more depth, signing Ben Guite to a one year deal. He'll provide competition in camp and should be a fixture with the Springfield Falcons.

Springfield for sure, unless Howson has another move up his sleeve. I don’t see him adding anything the team doesn’t already have with Moreau, Clark, Dorsett, Murray, Calvert, MacKenzie, Blunden or Kana.
Wow, that’s quite a list, isn’t it?

At least depth in the bottom six won’t be an issue this season. God help us if we lose more than one scoring line forward.

interesting sign. I personally don’t have any feelings on this signing whether good or bad. thinking springfield will be his home to start barring any injury setbacks. not sure who is still available that howson is looking at to sign. guess we will continue to wait and see.
Philadelphia Flyers/Columbus Blue Jackets...don't ask me how.
Good signing
He’s a minor league veteran, so he can tutor some of our younger talent. Also, like said, he adds depth to the bottom 6. He has 175 NHL games under his built, and saw playoff action with the Avalanche. If ever need be we lose a guy, he’s more than capable of filling in.
The saga continues.

I trust he would be a servicable replacement, but I hope it doesn’t come to that.

Yeah, but injuries happen. Not to mention the possibilities of trades still out there.
