Marek Hrivik to attend training camp
According to Slovakian website Hokejportal.sk (Translation required!), Slovak winger Marek Hrivik, who most recently played with Moncton of the QMJHL, will be attending the Jackets training camp as an undrafted free agent. Hrivik played 66 games for the Wildcats this year, including their run to the Memorial Cup, and recorded 26 goals, 29 assists, and a +24 rating. He's regarded as a very defensively responsible player with good offensive skills, but he has some problems with his skating and conditioning.
