Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Odd coincidence

Just something I noticed reading through the coaches' bios...Since the current format was set in the 1970s, only four teams have won back to back Memorial Cups. One is the Windsor Spitfires under new assistant coach Bob Boughner.

The first team to do it? That'd be the Cornwall Royals in 1980 and 81, lead by their captain (and new CBJ head coach) Scott Arniel.

We do have the youngest team in the NHL…makes sense to stockpile coaches that are good developing talent into champions.

Philadelphia Flyers/Columbus Blue Jackets...don't ask me how.
