Filatov to return to Columbus beginning of August
Rest easy, fans, Nikita has informed Columbus GM Scott Howson that he will in fact return in August. It will be about a month before training camp starts up - enough time for him to get settled back in town. Join me in welcoming back the Filatov Cocktail!

great news, but now we have the problem of where he fits in the lineup, since we have a glut of top-6 wingers.

Yes, but who becomes the odd man out? RJ is deserving of a top 6 spot but the thought of the Young Guns line is sooo tempting.

RJ certainly deserves a top six spot, but his game works much better on a third line than any of the other guys, so it would probably be him.

So then Clark would be out. A checking line that can score too would be nice…
