Game 67 Open Thread: Jackets vs. Ducks

Columbus Blue Jackets at Anaheim Ducks, Mar 9, 2010 10:00 PM EST

After the abomination that took place on Los Angeles ice last night, there's nowhere to go but up for the Jackets. The playoffs aren't going to happen this year, and for some of the guys in the lineup now- it's time to impress if they want a job next year. Rick Nash and Kristian Huselius are out of the lineup tonight, look for Maksim Mayorov to drop into the top six along with Brassard, Voracek, Vermette, Umberger.

actually...

this post, in a way, relates to what I was asking about the Jackets and their lease with Syracuse. I would love, love, love to see Columbus some how work a deal to take over the lease with the Q and finally bring the AHL club practically a stones throw away for me, and hopefully more fans of the Columbus Blue Jackets…

All the recent publicity and partnerships with the Cavaliers and Indians lead me to think something could be in the works, maybe not now, but in a foreseeable future for our club to land and really take root in O H – I O.

True that. When the Clippers and Indians got together, it made me (literally) jump for joy. I can only hope for the same type of relationship with the Jackets.

Columbus til I die, Columbus til I die. I know I am, I swear I am, Columbus til I die!
