I'm sticking to my prediction that the Jackets will show extreme character tonight and prevent the Blackhawks from getting revenge. That said, the Blackhawks are a fantastic team and have the ability to put their own beat on Columbus. With the added stability of Niemi in net, the Jackets are in tough.

For a time after that SH goal, I was pretty worried. Chicago looked in control and angry at that point. But Mase played a solid game, leaving CBJ a chance to win. Generally a good game, and well done in avoiding the wrath of an embarrassed Hawks team.
I have to say I’m very happy with how Voracek has played recently. Yeah the empty netter was stat padding, but he looked good most of the night. Of course, I’m also happy to see Clitsome playing fairly well. Even taking off my Clarkson-tinted glasses, he looks decent out there.
Yeah, we certainly looked tired there at the end and understandably so. I think everyone knew they were going to try to take it to us but like you said, Mase was solid. Jakub has slowly become my new favorite Jacket. Which is a good thing because I hadn’t decided on a fave since Vyborny left us. I think he has been one of our more consistent forwards all year in the effort department. He seems to give his all every night.
Clitsome has played very well with the exception of a few ill advised pinches. I think that he was nervous his first couple of games but he looks more confident now. It was nice to be there last night when he scored his first NHL goal. I kept thinking of you guys saying “Get some Clitsome”.
I love it when we beat the Blackhaws!!!
