Puck-rakers:

Have you fed your temple today? Still no Klesla at practice, but overall, everything seems to be on the up and up. Getting a good vibe heading into the final stretch.

BlueJackets XTRA:

Once again, the Team USA is playing in the middle of the day (thanks NBC). This time, its against the Fins, with a spot in the gold medal game up for grabs. Expect this to be a tough, hard hitting affair. Go USA!

Our captain Rick Nash has made the most of these Olympics. He's getting rave reviews regarding his play in the last few games. I hope he brings that intensity back to Columbus next week.

BlueJackets.com:

St. Patrick's Day is going to be here before you know it. That means only one thing: Green Blue Jackets warm-up jerseys! They'll be put up for auction and the proceeds will benefit the team's charitable foundation. So go to the games, and bid on your favorite jersey!!

Speaking of bidding. Check out the Blue Jackets items being auctioned off right now.

Yahoo! Sports:

The Canadian Women's team won gold last night by defeating the US team 2-0. However, the big story wasn't the game itself, but what took place after. I wonder if these games will be remembered as the "Outlandish Celebration Olympics." Read down at the bottom to see what other atheletes had done after winning their medals.

The Flames have reached an agreement on an extension with winger Rene Bourque.

NHL.com:

NBC analyst Pierre McGuire tells us who to watch out for in the semifinal between Canada and Slovakia. What an upset this would be if the Slovaks could prove the world wrong and beat Canada; I just don't see it happening.

NHL.com Editor, Shawn Roarke gives us a preview of the US/Finland game, which is set to drop the puck within the hour. Tune in if you can!

Quote of the day:

"There are so many good players that somebody has to sacrifice and take on those other roles. That shows the maturity of Rick and what a horse he is to be able to do that kind of stuff."

- R.J. Umberger on the ability of teammate Rick Nash to play different roles for a hockey team.
