Game 7 Preview: Limping into Chi-Town

Last night was one of the very few times when I had no problem flipping between the Jackets game and whatever other crap was on the television. The Flames aren't world beaters, having problems of their own, but the Jackets let them have all the freedom in the world en route to a 6-2 beat-down.

Tonight they are in Chicago, facing the Blackhawks for the second time this season. The first time around the 'Hawks were the victors, and the Jackets will look to get revenge on them this evening.

Expect coach Arniel to shake up the lines, he moved some guys around in the third period last night, but it was too little, too late. Seeing Voracek playing with Nasher and Vermette seems like it could have success, here's hoping we see that trio tonight.

Been so busy with work, I haven’t seen a Jackets game since we played the Hawks (how ironic lol). What happened to Moreau, can anyone tell me?

It’s still early in the year, and we do have some wins under our belt, so it’s not like we started off flat. We need to start turning things around. I haven’t seen the passed three games, but from what I concur, our defense could still use much improvement.

The saga continues.

Moreau took a Paul Mara slapshot to the hand and broke it – he’ll be out until Thanksgiving, most likely.
