More times than not I criticize Puck Daddy for the things they write, especially when it comes to our beloved Jackets. Today, is a new day however. Justin Bourne wants everyone to remember - these professional athletes are HUMAN. Just like you and me, they can only take so much. This piece came to be after the recent actions of Vancouver C Rick Rypien. In case you've been under a rock for the last week, this is what happened. While Bourne doesn't openly defend Rypien and his careless actions, he tries to make everyone understand that even professional athletes get caught up in the moment.
