Not sure that has to do with his smarts…he’s handled himself pretty well in most of those fights. Saw him kick the crap out of Ivanans when he was with Phoenix…

Of course not, but that was what you implied with the “he’ll fight anyone” line…he does it to motivate the team, generally. He’s gotten better about it. He was a complete mess when he was here in Phoenix. He’s changed his game a lot and reeled in the emotion a bit and is playing much, much smarter…

Carcillo, too, has certainly matured some this year- you can tell by the way he’s (thank god) not leading the league in PIMs again. Plus he’s injuring way fewer people! Yes, there was the Bradley incident, and I don’t even want to reference the throat-slash as an “incident,” but still, it’s fewer suspensions/fines than i would have expected from carcillo this far into a season. =p

oh absolutely. i certainly didn’t mean to sound like i was smearing everyone who frequents bsh. just those three, which is really sad, because all three of them are highly intelligent, passionate hockey fans, and it’s always interesting to hear their opinions. but when two people who can be stubborn to a fault come together like that, it’s bound to be disaster. welcome to the world of debating sports, i suppose. it happens.

by eeeeee on Jan 19, 2010 9:51 PM EST up reply actions

The only disaster was that I couldn’t see their faces. Oh, and the blind ignorance from both sides. I kinda felt I should have said something for MarioD, but he probably would have taken against me.

it’s not so much that we would love him to death, it’s just that we would only have about one third of the talk we have now. obviously i can’t speak for everyone, but when i talk about crobsy, i usually have three things to say: 1) undeniable talent, 2) dives and whines, 3) eff crosby, i hate that bastard.
