Game 47 Preview: Jackets look to make it three against the Stars

I don't want to jinx it, but the Jackets are gunning for a third straight win tonight against the Stars. Matty Garon gets the nod again, he has been in net for the past two games. Russ is out with an undisclosed injury, and Freddy is out with a sore foot after blocking a shot. Other than that, there are no lineup changes.

The Jackets have been looking better and better recently, I'll chalk the Vancouver game up to a bump in the road. If they can continue playing the way they have the past two games, and Nasher can start lighting the lamp, the Jackets will be in good shape.

Fearless Prediction : Nash scores!

Star-divide

From the Columbus Dispatch:

The Blue Jackets and Stars have split the first two games, both in Dallas. The Jackets won 4-1 on Nov. 19 and lost 3-1 on Dec. 23. The Blue Jackets have lost five of their past six games in Nationwide Arena. The Stars snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders on Friday.
