Blue Jackets Pre-season Schedule

The 2009-10 NHL season will soon be upon us. Today, the Blue Jackets announced their pre-season schedule.

Sept. 18: @ Minnesota, 8 p.m.
Sept. 19: @ Nashville, 8 p.m.
Sept. 21: vs. Minnesota, 7 p.m.
Sept. 22: vs. Boston, 7 p.m.
Sept. 24: vs. Pittsburgh, 7 p.m.
Sept. 25: @ Pittsburgh, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 26: @ Boston, 7 p.m.
Sept. 28: vs. Nashville, 7 p.m.

The full 2009-10 NHL schedule will be released on Wednesday.

I like it. I wish we’d gotten rid of all the divisional pre-season matches, but spacing them out like that is probably good to help avoid too much bad blood boiling over.

I’m really excited for the Boston and Pittsburgh games. I have a feeling I won’t be able to get tickets to them easily, but i’m really excited! :)

for my brother’s wedding from oct 2nd til oct 7th… any chance the season will have started by then

Probably not.

Last year the Jackets first home game wasn’t until the 17th. But I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.
