Steve Mason wins Calder Trophy

Steve Mason is your 2009 NHL Rookie of the Year.
What an incredible season, especially for a young guy who was playing in juniors just a season ago. Despite two knee surgeries and starting the year in Syracuse (just three games), Mason took the league by storm when called up by the Blue Jackets in November and never looked back.
Congratulations, Steve! This is no doubt the first of many trophies you will be bringing back to Columbus.
