News and notes
If you're any bit of a Blue Jackets fan, you should be following Puck-rakers, if you aren't already.
Aaron Portzline and Tom Reed, as well as Michael Arace from time to time, provide great coverage for the Columbus Dispatch, and everything they can't or don't cover in the paper spills over to the blog.
Over the past couple days, they've had a lot of interesting tidbits, and I want to pass them along...
- Jim Day will no longer cover the Blue Jackets for Fox Sports Ohio.
- Scott Howson ranks 3rd best executive in the NHL according to voting of team GM's and executives.
- Columbus was the 5th highest rated market for Sunday's NBC match-up of the Blackhawks and Red Wings.

Is anyone else starting to feel more and more uncomfortable about the talk coming out of the CBJ head office?
“Don’t mention Mr. Mac.”
“Don’t say things that put the team in a negative light.”
“Dumb down the postgame comments.”
I’m really getting concerned about where that might be headed.
That is pretty bad
Getting trouble for saying the effort was disappointing after a bad game, holy crap! Gotta feel for whatever broadcaster has to deal with that in 09-10.
