Around SBN: Champions League Preview with Jimmy Conrad

News and notes

If you're any bit of a Blue Jackets fan, you should be following Puck-rakers, if you aren't already.

Aaron Portzline and Tom Reed, as well as Michael Arace from time to time, provide great coverage for the Columbus Dispatch, and everything they can't or don't cover in the paper spills over to the blog.

Over the past couple days, they've had a lot of interesting tidbits, and I want to pass them along...

So, click on over to Puck-rakers for that and more and hopefully it will help pass the time. Considering this is the Blue Jackets shortest summer break to date, it sure seems long, doesn't it?

Is anyone else starting to feel more and more uncomfortable about the talk coming out of the CBJ head office?

“Don’t mention Mr. Mac.”
“Don’t say things that put the team in a negative light.”
“Dumb down the postgame comments.”

I’m really getting concerned about where that might be headed.

That is pretty bad

Getting trouble for saying the effort was disappointing after a bad game, holy crap! Gotta feel for whatever broadcaster has to deal with that in 09-10.
