Who will benefit the most?
Of course, the whole team will benefit from making the playoffs and playing against the defending Stanley Cup champions. Of all sports, I'd say hockey is the one where experience and growing pains are absolutely necessary before moving on to the next level. It's the ultimate team sport, and you cannot buy your way into the playoffs with a couple big free agents. Ask Tampa Bay.
So, for the sake of discussion, which returning Blue Jacket will benefit the most from his Stanley Cup playoff appearance?
Note: Players that are set to be unrestricted or restricted free agents will not be included in the poll, as well as players with prior playoff experience (Modin, Commodore, Umberger, etc.).

Believe it or not, I’m going with Russell. I think we saw a lot of things (timing, speed, use of space) finally ‘Click’ for Kris in game 4.
If he hangs on to that and adds some good summer program muscle to his frame…I think it could be rather interesting.

I’m going right to Nash. He knows he wasn’t a factor in Detroit. He was much better in Columbus, but there is an entire other level he will have to get to. He saw first hand Hossa, Datsyuk, and Zetterberg get there.

I agree with Nash, and that’s pretty much my reasoning. I felt like he figured out how to elevate his game to the next level in game 4, and he’s going to be that much hungrier for success next year.
