New Blog: Voodoo Five for South Florida Bulls Fans!

On board at SB Nation

Hello everybody!

Mike, Clint, and I have had Blue Jackets blog going since December 2007.  Mike started the blog because, at the time, there was a lack of good Blue Jackets content on the web. We have one of the best local papers in country in terms of coverage of our team at the Columbus Dispatch, but when fans wanted somewhere to go to read analysis and chat with fans, there wasn't much outside of message boards.

In the summer of 2008, I joined Mike, and this season Clint jumped on board to contribute game recaps and other content.

We had been chugging along, when to our surprise, James Mirtle got in touch with us and asked if we'd like to be a part of SB Nation. The answer to that question was a no-brainer, and we couldn't be more excited to be up and going for the playoffs!

We get to jump right into this with our first ever playoff game tonight and we hope to add great Blue Jackets content to the excellent community here!

Feel free to follow us on Twitter. Carry the Flag!

Welcome Ohio

Good to have you guys aboard for your first playoffs. Do make short work of the Wings for the rest of the West (and, you know, for karma).

We'll sure give it our best shot!

I’m sure we’d make many fans if we could take care of Detroit for everybody. ;)

He’s sure looked good for Columbus lately.

No way!

Tyutin is our best all around defenseman. I do miss Zherdev, but getting Tyutin in that trade eased the pain a lot!

Welcome from a Devils fan.

Great to see a Blue Jackets blog on board. And just in time for the playoffs I might add.

Good luck and beat the Wings.

I don't need no instructions to know how to rock!

Welcome!

And congrats on your first playoffs! Enjoy the ride. (Let me know how it feels, won’t you?) Take down Detroit!

So true about the excellent Columbus Dispatch coverage — you guys are lucky to have it.

Welcome

Us Preds fans will sure be seeing a lot of this blog in the future, considering you’re our “little brother” team. Sadly, that will have to be next season.

So glad

I’ve been waiting a long time for a CBJ blog on here…I tried starting one myself but I found it hard to blog for a team whose home city you don’t live anywhere near. I hope to see some good stuff out of here.
