Game 30 Open Thread: Jackets vs. Panthers

Florida Panthers at Columbus Blue Jackets, Dec 9, 2009 7:00 PM EST

This should at least be an entertaining game, and with the return of Derek Dorsett, hopefully the Jackets can set the tone physically. The Panthers are a good team, not to be taken lighttly. Will Brass improve his play and earn a shot back on a scoring line? Playing on an energy line with Dors and Raffi might not do it, so maybe this is more of a message from the coaches.

Poll
Will Dorsett make a major impact in his return to the lineup?
Yes, he'll be banging bodies all night, maybe a scrap?

Not really, the coaches will ease him back into the lineup

I’m REALLY hoping for a blowout in Columbus’ favour tonight. I want to cheer like 6 goals for. I need it.

Complaint: not the best looking PP there.

Awesome: that last save by Mase.

We’ve lost a bit of momentum here toward the end of the period. Too much chasing and a non-existent offensive presence over the last few minutes.

Hi all! Playing a nice game, good stuff in the corners, Mason’s a beast.

Sloppy, sloppy second period there. Mase made some huge saves though. Here’s hoping for a strong third period.
