PrintGoing back to basics is something Hitch has talked about recently. Tonight, however, going back to basics could be a one-way ticket to loss-town. Bring the intensity and for the sake of any self respect and pride, bring it early! Don't give up the early goal(s). Phoenix is looking to move closer to grabbing the division lead from San Jose and Los Angeles. Mathieu Garon is in net which could be a good sign against the 'yotes. Will the benching of Steve Mason send a message to the team?

Despite how bad Mase has been, I have no faith in Garon. My Pens fan friend laughed when we signed Garon. He claims that he really hurt most of their chances when playing. I can see what he means…
