Game 34 Open Thread: Jackets vs. Wild

Columbus Blue Jackets at Minnesota Wild, Dec 15, 2009 8:00 PM EST

Effort, effort, effort. The Jackets, up until this season, have always been known for their work ethic. There were some truly terrible Columbus teams put together since they joined the league, so it's painful to watch the most skilled edition in team history stray away from hard work. Maybe the start to the season was too easy for them. They sat on their record, and slacked off. Now they are in the midst of a scary tailspin that makes it look more and more every day that they might be a one-and-done playoff team. They had their brief visit last year and now they are back to being on the outside looking in. If they can get back to out-working teams, the skill that the team possesses will take care of things on the scoresheet and they will win.

so this game isnt going to be televised at all?

Bummer, Because this is a game we’re sure to win. These guys can’t be held down any longer. My prediction is Nash with 1, Umberger with 2, Modin with 2 assists.
